Some of my recipes have been passed down through generations. I pride myself on my flavour combinations and am always developing my recipes and new flavours.
I supply local coffee shop Kooky Nohmad with luxury cupcakes every Friday for weekend trading. These usually include four different flavours which I develop in house.
Below are my most popular cake flavours for cakes and wedding cakes however if there is a particular flavour you have in mind I am happy to discuss.
All of my fondant cakes are covered in either milk, white or dark chocolate ganache prior to covering in sugar paste. This sets firmer than buttercream and allows the freshness of the cake to be locked in for longer.
For buttercream wedding cakes I usually use Swiss Meringue Buttercream which is light in texture and taste.
I can cater for mild intolerances and vegan cakes however my cakes are not suitable for allergy suffers or Coeliacs.
Vanilla sponge with raspberry or strawberry conserve and vanilla buttercream. I also offer Vanilla with Hertfordshire Strawberry pieces which is my most popular flavour for Wedding Cake flavour.
A light lemon sponge with zesty lemon buttercream with the option of a layer of home made lemon curd.
Red Velvet is a cross between a vanilla and chocolate cake with that deep red crumb. It is perfectly matched with a light cream cheese flavoured buttercream.
My most popular choice for celebration cakes! A rich chocolate fudge cake with a lighter chocolate buttercream to balance. A variety of fillings can also be added such as raspberry, home made caramel or salted caramel or crushed Oreos.
A delightfully light Carrot Cake which can be made with or without saltanas and nuts. With a cream cheese flavour icing. Lovely with a cuppa!

I am always developing new flavour combinations for cupcakes so this menu is usually updated regularly.
You can either order cupcakes with vanilla buttercream swirls and sprinkles, luxury toppings (see photo to the left) or cupcakes with fondant toppers that are made to the theme of your choice. I also offer edible printing so can include a logo/photos too.
