The Consultation - Kelly really took the time to get to know us as a couple and discussed what we hoped for in our wedding cake. It was so reassuring the time she spent with us at this stage to help achieve the vision we had, that was also a reflection of understanding us as a couple.
The cake design was perfect. Kelly understood exactly what we were after straight away and we were happy with the very first design. The cake was stunning on the day. It was beautifully elegant and was almost a shame to cut into it!
All three tiers of the cake tasted AMAZING, it was definitely a hit with the guests and we look forward to enjoying it over the coming weeks!
From the initial consultation the service from Kelly was outstanding. She took the time to get to know us personally as a couple, and completely understood our vision. Communication throughout the entire process was excellent, and we trusted her 100%. On the day the cake was absolutely beautiful and tasted just as good as it looked (if not better)!! Consultation - Just brilliant, we came away from the consultation so impressed at how much thought goes into the tasters and how lovely and friendly Kelly was. We knew we wanted to go with you the second we left!
Taste - Incredible, both layers were fluffy and tasted absolutely amazing. The staff at Manor Barn had to keep topping up the trays which I must admit I've never seen happen at a wedding before! We also have leftovers too.. this review is making me think I should go get some more!
Would you change anything? Honestly no, I would suggest something If I had it (and I usually do) but I knew exactly what the plan was, when to expect communication and trusted that you would do a great job and you did.
From the first consultation Kelly was just amazing, you can tell the amount of effort that goes into the tasters and she is brilliant at helping you think of ideas and create the perfect wedding cake. Communication throughout the planning of the wedding (and even after) was perfect for me, I knew when to expect contact and exactly what we would be getting on the day. Liz and Kelly are just a brilliant team, you can tell they really care about this business and I will absolutely use them again for other big events! Our cake looked and tasted amazing and we had nothing but great comments from our guests. They even popped on the cake topper we had purchased separately so it was all ready for when we arrived at the venue. Thank you very much again!!

Overall our experience with Kelly's Kitchen could honestly not have been better. From consultation to consumption(!) Kelly & Liz took incredible care of us. They are wonderful people and are running such a fantastic business. I would recommend Kelly's Kitchen to anyone- whether you are looking for a simple white wedding cake or an extravagant masterpiece - Kelly can make it happen for you!
Value for money - Couldn't ask for anything more for the amount we paid. If anything Kelly could very easily increase prices for the quality of cakes she produces!

Everyone commented on how tasty the cake was. The lemon tier dissapeared and we indulged in some of the vanilla and chocolate tiers the day after our wedding!

They looked absolutely stunning! So many people were taking photos of the display as soon as they saw them. Kelly, from what I hear, you took some time to make the display look so good & you absolutely smashed it, it was breathtaking (and very Instagramable). They looked so good, a few people were asking when they could tuck in through the day!
They tasted sooooo good! My friend was so impressed she insisted i try some of hers as she was eating it - even though I'd of course already tried it! Everyone was so impressed, thank you.

The consultation was very thorough. We got to try different flavoured cupcakes and Kelly drew the design of our cake on some paper so we could visualise how it would look.
The cake tasted amazing! All of the guests went back for seconds! The cake was nice a moist and didn’t dry out. We had a different flavour for each tier. DELICIOUS !!!

Kelly filled in for another baker three days before our wedding and was absolutely amazing! Completely put our minds at ease and was easy to work with.
We had three wedding cakes, to start the chocolate orange cake with chocolate drip was by far our favourite it was lovely and moist and have excellent flavours throughout, the lemon cake with lemon curd and buttercream was lovely and zesty but also so sweet! Our Victoria sponge cake was exactly as you expect great flavours and design!
Everyone commented on how fabulous the cakes looked, they were so neat and tidy.

Our original wedding bakery sadly went out of business due to COVID - and while we were disappointed at the time, there turned out to be an incredible silver lining! Two months before our wedding, I was shopping around bakeries trying to find somewhere that was available to do *any* cake. I would have been willing to drop my standards, but Kelly absolutely would not let that happen! We knew from the moment we tried the sample cupcakes that her flavours and textures were exquisite. We couldn't choose just one flavour, so we got a three-tiered cake with chocolate, lemon, and strawberry. The cakes were moist and delicious! The white chocolate ganache under the buttercream was exquisite. While I would have settled for a completely plain cake, Kelly came up with the design for a linked heart in our wedding colours and gorgeous decorative flowers. (I will attach a photo to the review later on - I've been too busy to go through pictures for the last few weeks, but I really wanted to write my reviews while I had a few minutes to spare.) I'm Irish and many members of my extended family are quite serious bakers, and every one of them was overcome with how wonderful the cake was. I'm already trying to come up with excuses to order another cake from Kelly! Her products and her customer service are top-notch (shout-out to Jo!) and I cannot recommend her enough!
